The Maple League of Universities – an academic consortium comprised of Acadia University, Bishop’s University, Mount Allison University, and St Francis Xavier University – has announced that it has changed its governance model. The move comes as the consortium experiences rapid growth in its shared programming, initiatives, and external funding. While the consortium was previously governed by the four university presidents, it will be switching to a governing board composed of the vice-presidents academic and provosts of the institutions. The leaders have also agreed to extend funding to 2028 and operationalize inter-institutional collaboration. StFX Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
