The Maple League of Universities has received renewed support from the Business+Higher Education Roundtable (BHER) to continue to expand and develop the Online Learning and Technology Consultants program. The OLTC program aims to provide technology-rich, liberal education that teaches students about career opportunities in PSE, strengthens the WIL ecosystem, and creates WIL opportunities. It was initially piloted at Bishop’s University. “The OLTC program provides opportunities for students to develop key transferable skills,” explained Mount Allison University Provost and Maple League Governing Board Chair Dr Jeff Hennessey. “The benefits of these skills reach far beyond the student employee; they have large impacts on the institution, the higher education sector, and the communities within which these universities are embedded.” Maple League Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
