McMaster receives archive from Canadian artist Tom Wilson

McMaster University’s William Ready Division of Archives and Research Collections has received an archive from musician and visual artist Tom Wilson. The archive includes music, photos, drawings, two paintings, notebooks, and other items. The library has plans to digitize the work in the future to ensure that those who cannot visit the library can still access the materials. “Tom is a renowned singer and songwriter, an author, and an artist whose collective work occupies an important place in the history of the Canadian arts and music scene,” said McMaster President David Farrar. “As importantly, he’s a fiercely proud Hamiltonian, a community builder, and an Indigenous advocate, all of which makes this gift particularly meaningful to the university based in his hometown.” McMaster| CBC Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
