Three universities are sending their CubeSats—miniature satellites—to the International Space Station later this month. Memorial University’s Killick-1, University of New Brunswick’s NB Violet, and Université de Sherbrooke’s QMSat will be sent to the station on board a SpaceX Dragon cargo spacecraft on March 21st. The satellites will be deployed from the ISS in early May, beginning their data collection for their respective projects and transmitting it back to Earth. NASA will livestream the launch on its website.
