Two institutions announced new programming recently. Mount Allison University has announced that it is introducing an Indigenous Studies minor and certificate programs in Indigenous Studies. The programs will begin in Fall 2022 and will be open to students in any program. Students will take part in experiential learning and study topics such as Mi’kmaw language and/or culture, history, politics, law, and/or community. Lakeland College has announced a new major in marketing for its business administration diploma program. The major includes an optional, 16-week co-op between the first and second year. Student can also choose to pursue a business administration degree through Lakeland’s on-campus degree options with Athabasca University.
