NACC partners with Reconciliation Education, FNU to offer reconciliation training

The National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) has announced that it will be offering 4 Seasons of Reconciliation through a partnership with Reconciliation Education and First Nations University of Canada. The program will be available to learners enrolled in its member colleges across the country. The Truth and Reconciliation training will be mandatory for NACC board members and staff, and NACC member colleges will be able to offer the self-paced program to their learners and faculty. “NACC member colleges have worked closely with First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities across Canada to create positive social change through skills development and economic empowerment,” said NACC CEO Michael Sangster. “Today’s announcement recognizes we can do more and underlines regulated career colleges’ commitment to advancing Reconciliation through education and opportunity.” News Wire Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
