The Government of Nova Scotia and the Government of Yukon have signed a letter of intent to work together over the next two years on improving healthcare. The areas of collaboration include the recruitment and licensure of internationally trained healthcare professionals, improvement of labour mobility, and enhanced healthcare professional education and training opportunities. “I look forward to working with our partners in Yukon as we combine our efforts, share our knowledge and ensure everyone has access to the care they deserve,” said NS Premier Tim Houston. The next step will be the signing of a memorandum of understanding to formalize the agreement.
