Cambrian College, Durham College, and Fanshawe College have announced new certificate programs to meet the demand for personal support workers (PSW) and early childhood education (ECE) professionals in the province. Cambrian announced an Early Childhood Education Administration graduate certificate program that will train ECE professionals to work as leaders in the sector. Durham has announced both a new compressed ECE program that will allow students to graduate within 14 months, as well as a new intake for the accelerated PSW program. Both programs are tuition-free. Fanshawe is offering an accelerated, tuition-free Personal Support Worker certificate program. The program is offered in a blended delivery format on a condensed schedule to allow students to graduate within six months, and the tuition and costs are fully covered for domestic students.
