Ontario Tech becomes Canadians for CANDU ambassador

Ontario Tech University has become an ambassador for the Canadians for the Climate Action and Nuclear Disarmament United (CANDU) campaign. The campaign promotes the deployment of CANDU nuclear technology to support clean energy in Canada and around the world. “The campaign’s four pillars align with the university’s commitment to Canada’s energy and environmental future, a key component of our Strategic Research Plan,” said Ontario Tech President Dr Steven Murphy. “This new relationship builds upon our energy research and expertise, enhancing our role in advancing the nation’s leadership in the worldwide journey towards achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.”
