Forbes has released a list of Canada’s Best Employers for Diversity in 2022, and several postsecondary institutions have ranked near the top of the list. The list evaluates companies and institutions in terms of their recommendations, diversity of their boards and executive ranks, and their diversity and inclusion initiatives. Four institutions placed in the top ten: the University of New Brunswick (#2), Memorial University of Newfoundland (#6), Toronto Metropolitan University (#9), and Sheridan College (#10). Other institutions that made the rankings were McMaster University (#25), the University of Guelph (#41), Dalhousie University (#55), the University of Alberta (#71), the University of British Columbia (#75), the University of Waterloo (#77), Concordia University (#125), the University of Toronto ($128), and Mount Royal University (#145).
