Journal de Montréal reports that Québec is developing a digital version of the standardized French test taken by cégep students. The épreuve uniforme de français au cégep is reportedly being tested at this time. The provincial student union Fédération étudiante collégiale du Québec has called for the test to be more reflective of reality, with students permitted to complete the test digitally and with access to the corrective software they would use outside the classroom. QC has stated that it is too early to determine if students will be able to take a digital version of the test, but the province expressed interest in increasing the efficiency of ministerial tests.
