Retired ULaval professor donates $1M to law faculty

Université Laval has received a $1M donation for its Faculté de droit from retired ULaval professor Jacques Deslauriers. The donation, which is the largest from a single individual in the faculty’s history, will be used to support master’s degree students studying civil law. The funds will bolster scholarships for students, civil law research, and the updating process for three of Deslauriers’ reference works.
