Thanks to a $1.25M investment from Mastercard, Ryerson University’s Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst will launch two unique training programs to foster inclusion and diversity. The Mastercard Emerging Leaders in Cyber Initiative is a unique leadership program that will support the development of women as executive leaders in cybersecurity. The Mastercard Cyber Range Capstone Program is an experiential learning program designed to provide learners from groups underrepresented in the sector with additional hands-on cybersecurity training. “This investment by Mastercard will open many new doors for our diverse cybersecurity learners,” said Ryerson VP of Research and Innovation Dr Steven Liss. “We are incredibly excited to develop new cybersecurity training programs that will be among the best in Canada.” IT World Canada| Ryerson Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
