St Lawrence College is introducing a Perianesthesia Nursing graduate certificate program this fall to prepare nurses for work in a perianesthesia settings. This one-year, part-time program begins with foundational concepts and progresses through courses that mirror the patient’s journey through the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative experiences. The curriculum also emphasizes cultural diversity and the care of special populations. The program is open to Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses licensed with the College of Nurses of Ontario or an equivalent body.
