Southeast College has announced that it will no longer be operating a storefront campus location in Moosomin. The Moosomin Campus has largely been vacant in the last two years, aside from hosting the college’s electrician program for 18-week periods, and has been staffed on an as-needed casual basis. Southeast will continue offering courses in Moosomin through rental and lease agreements and will continue to explore future program opportunities for the region. “The combination of economic challenges and declining student demand is the main reason for the change,” said Southeast Interim President Jody Holzmiller. “Southeast College remains committed to the town of Moosomin and the surrounding area.”
