Spring enrolment has resumed for international students at Alpha College of Business Technology after it was suspended, reports CBC. Students had told CBC that the institution had unilaterally suspended their enrolment and that they were not receiving enrolment letters after paying their tuition, even though these letters are necessary for their study permits. The college, which is affiliated with St Lawrence College, reportedly addressed the main concerns over the weekend, and most of the students have now received timetables. “We respect that education is an important pathway for people to take, in making a new life in Canada, and that Ontario needs the incredible talent international students bring,” said SLC President Glenn Vollebregt.
