U of T accepts all recommendations made in sexual violence, harassment policy review

The University of Toronto has accepted all recommendations made in the final report of its sexual violence and sexual harassment policy review. The review occurs every three years and includes consultation with members of the university community, including students, staff, faculty, and librarians. The 12 recommendations include broadened education on the topic, updates to the Student’s Guide to the Policy on Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment, and increased counselling supports. “I commend the authors of the final report for their clear and thorough discussion of complex and challenging issues,” said U of T President Meric Gertler. “I look forward to seeing their important recommendations implemented across the university’s three campuses.” U of T Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
