UBCO launches aerospace option for manufacturing, mechanical engineering students

The University of British Columbia Okanagan has launched an aerospace option for students in manufacturing and mechanical engineering. The new program was developed with guidance from KF Aerospace. It will provide students with training on the skills, competencies, theories, and design methodologies needed to work in aerospace engineering. The program is set to start in the Fall semester. “It is a big undertaking to establish a new option in aerospace engineering, but based on feedback from students, faculty and industry, we are confident in this program’s future horizon,” said UBCO Director of the School of Engineering Dr Will Hughes.
