The Université de Hearst has announced that it is launching its first graduate diploma in psychotherapy: Diplôme d’études supérieures en psychothérapie. The program was developed to respond to the demand for psychotherapists in Ontario and the remote communities of the northeast. Students will be eligible to apply for member status with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). The program is offered full-time and can be completed in 12 months. UdeHearst says that it is the only Francophone institution in the province to offer a graduate program, as well as the first to offer training leading to eligibility for CRPO status.
