The Government of Canada has announced funding for a sports and recreation infrastructure project at the University of Manitoba. Canada will contribute up to $363K and UManitoba will contribute up to $545K towards the purchase of an energy-efficient ice plant for UManitoba’s Max Bell Centre at the Fort Garry campus. “This investment from the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program will help extend the life of the Max Bell Centre, providing a venue for Manitobans to enjoy for decades to come,” said UManitoba President Dr Michael Benarroch.
