The University of Manitoba has announced that it has transferred the management of Postdoctoral Fellows to its Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS). Manitoba Vice-Provost (Academic Planning & Programs) Greg Smith noted that postdocs and upper-year doctoral students share many of the same needs, and that FGS is equipped to support postdocs in their journeys. “We look forward to welcoming postdoctoral fellows into the Faculty of Graduate Studies,” said UManitoba Acting FGS Dean Kelley Main. “We will hold a few town halls in the new year to have an opportunity to learn more about what supports we can work to offer for these trainees.” UManitoba Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
