UNB launches program in criminology and criminal justice

The University of New Brunswick has launched a new undergraduate program in criminology and criminal justice through the university’s department of sociology. Students will learn about criminal activities, criminalization processes, and the Canadian criminal justice system, and will participate in an internship. The program will prepare students for careers in law enforcement, corrections, social policy research, and more. “The criminology and criminal justice program will give students the tools to become problem solvers and leaders who address societal challenges and engage with partners to build a more just and inclusive world,” said UNB VPA Dr Kathy Wilson.
