The University of New Brunswick and St Thomas University have announced a new peer-to-peer online mental health support program that will be accessible to students 24/7. Togetherall is a free program that enables all UNB and STU students to access one-on-one and group supports in real time. The program is continually monitored by trained mental health professionals who are able to intervene in crisis situations. The program also offers resources addressing issues such as anxiety, sleep, and depression. “When you see how many people are hooked in and online, like in a group chat, there can be comfort in the common struggle,” said UNB Counselling Services director April Kennedy.
