UQAM, Cégep de Sorel-Tracy announce revised, updated programs to meet labour market needs

Two Quebec institutions have revised programs to meet the needs of the labour market. The Université du Québec à Montréal has revised its baccalauréat en communication marketing to offer an advertising stream that focuses on content marketing and user/customer experience, as well as a strategy and consulting stream that focuses on data analysis and mining, relational marketing, commercial communication, and brand reputation. Cégep de Sorel-Tracy has redesigned its Technologie du génie électrique: automatisation et contrôle program. The update will introduce five new skills: workplace health and safety, robotics, networking and the Internet of Things, machine safety, project management, and troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial control systems.
