URegina, Colorado School of Mines sign MOU to facilitate research, academic opportunities

The University of Regina has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Colorado School of Mines. The international partnership will facilitate collaboration in a variety of areas, including research proposals and projects; student and faculty learning, professional experiences, and exchanges; graduate programming; and joint and dual degree programming. The collaboration also includes research priorities in areas such as sustainable mining, nuclear science and engineering, carbon capture, and alternative fuel technologies. “We are excited to enter into this agreement with Colorado School of Mines as it formalizes our desire to collaborate in helping sustainably address energy needs in both the United States and Canada,” said URegina President Dr Jeff Keshen.
