The University of Saskatchewan has partnered with Lakeland College to offer students a way to complete all four years of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program in Lloydminster. Students will stay in Lloydminster as they complete classroom learning and take part in labs led by local nurse educators at Lakeland, and will be able to complete most of their clinical placements with local agencies. Students will be able to connect virtually with USask nursing professors and students. “Students in Lloydminster who may not have considered nursing education in the past will now have access to learn where they live, as a result of this collaboration,” said USask College of Nursing Dean Dr Solina Richter.
