Valleyfield eyes new programs, completion of student residence for near future

As the new school year begins, Cégep de Valleyfield has shared several announcements about its future plans with regard to programs and infrastructure. Neo Media reports that Valleyfield is embarking on a $8M expansion of a student residence that will include space for another 140 students and is expected to be complete in August 2023. It also intends to take on more than $30M in repair and upgrades between 2022 and 2025. In terms of programming, Valleyfield will be offering four new AET programs this fall in areas such as cybersecurity research, finance services, logistics, and health care. The cégep also plans to launch civil engineering and physiotherapy programs in 2024 or 2025.
