VCC launches Production for Animation and VFX micro-credential program

Vancouver Community College has announced that it will launch a new micro-credential in Production for Animation and VFX program. The program will teach production skills such as how to organize, schedule, and budget a project. The program is broken into four part-time courses, each of which includes both in-person and online sessions. “Production is the backbone of any VFX or animation project,” says program instructor Shawn Solensky. “[In a production role,] you are part of the driving force in the team, and nowhere else can you find the satisfaction of bringing order to chaos in such a creative environment.“ Those who complete the program will receive an Award of Achievement.
