Vancouver Community College has announced that its Practical Nursing program has received Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing accreditation. VCC says that its Practical Nursing program is the first in Canada to receive CASN accreditation. CASN reviewed VCC’s educational programs, facilities, equipment, and resources, and granted VCC the maximum seven-year accreditation. “CASN is a real feather in your cap,” said VCC department leader Janita Schappert. “It lets students know this is a program of excellence.” VCC Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
