Western University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Makerere University (Uganda) to build on their existing relationship. The universities will partner to provide student internship and exchanges, co-develop research projects, and explore more joint programming opportunities. The partnership will involve several Western faculties, including Engineering, Health Sciences, and Science. “Makerere has many programs aligned with our faculty including their health professional programs, so there are more opportunities for both educational connections as well as research collaborations,” said Western Health Sciences Dean Jayne Garland.
