YorkU launches new data science program, celebrates new collaborative program partnerships

York University has launched a new career-focused data science program. The program brings together a focus on areas of practice, an innovative year-long capstone project, and courses from different faculties and schools across YorkU. The university also recently reported that it is anticipating growth in the Faculty of Science’s 2+2/2+3 Undergraduate International Collaboration Education Programs thanks to five new partnerships established this year with institutions from China and Malysia. The programs allow students to complete the first two years of postsecondary education at their home institution before completing the final years of a BA or BSc degree at YorkU.
