Lethbridge Polytechnic and Fleming College have each announced new micro-credential programming. Lethbridge has launched the Getting Started with Accessibility micro-credential which is designed to boost accessibility and inclusivity on campus. The micro-credential has three streams tailored to three different audiences: Lethbridge employees; Lethbridge students; and caregivers, parents, and support persons. It is mandatory for all polytechnic employees. Fleming is adding five new industry-focused micro-credentials to its continuing education offerings to help workers upskill rapidly. New micro-credentials include Introduction to Biomanufacturing, Indigenous Perspectives in Economic Development, and three levels of Embedded Systems Design. These micro-credentials are supported by a $250K grant from the Government of Ontario.
