Olds launches Bachelor of Digital Agriculture focused on the global challenges in agriculture

Olds College has announced that it has been approved to offer a new Bachelor of Digital Agriculture degree program. Students in the four-year program will explore global challenges in agriculture, engage in real-world problems, and learn how to use digital agriculture technologies and practices to solve issues. “Now, more than ever, the ag sector needs skilled graduates who are able to understand, harness and leverage the immense amount of data being generated throughout the agri-food value chain so that Canada’s ag sector can sustainably produce the highest quality food for a growing global population.” The first intake for the program on campus will be in Fall 2023.
