Portage College is partnering with Riipen’s Level UP program to offer students practical learning experiences. Through this partnership, students will be matched with employers to complete short-term, remote projects. Students will gain practicum hours while earning an income, broadening their industry knowledge and preparedness, and enhancing their employability. “This initiative provides our students with invaluable employment experience while also bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world application,” said Portage Dean of University Studies Don Moore. “By engaging with a diverse range of employers, our students will have the opportunity to gain critical skills and industry knowledge, setting them up for career success.”
