University College of the North and the Manitoba Arts Network recently announced that they are partnering to bring travelling art exhibitions to the institution’s Thompson and The Pas campuses over the next two years. A professional brass ensemble–called the “Buzz Brass”–will also be brought to UCN campuses to engage with local high school students and perform for local communities. “These exhibitions will showcase Manitoba artists’ rich talent and creativity, providing our students, faculty, staff, and communities with unique opportunities to engage with and appreciate the arts,” said UCN President Doug Lauvstad.
