Langara College’s Studio 58 has announced that it will be ending its Production Program in response to financial pressures and policy changes. The program has reportedly operated for over 60 years. The studio explained that the decision was driven by the “new financial climate.” “The legacy of the program will live on in the ambitious and creative work of our graduates, who continue to shape the Canadian and global theatre scenes,” stated the studio. Daily Hive news reports that the studio will continue operation and its acting program.
