MSVU Kinu Tourism Project, Millbrook First Nation partner to improve access to Indigenous tourism education

The Kinu Tourism Project at Mount Saint Vincent University and Millbrook First Nation have partnered to improve access to Indigenous tourism education. The partnership will involve creating pathways so that Indigenous students can access postsecondary tourism programs, strengthening Mi’kma’ki cultural tourism offerings, and fostering entrepreneurship opportunities for Indigenous communities. “By working with Millbrook First Nation, we can ensure that Indigenous voices and knowledge are centered in tourism education, helping shape a future where cultural tourism is led by Indigenous Peoples themselves,” said MSVU President Dr Joël Dickinson.
