Northern College has received a $5M investment from Discovery Mining Ltd through a new collaborative partnership. Of the investment, $3M will go towards Northern College’s Sports Dome, transforming it into a year-round recreational facility that the community can use. In honour of the investment, the dome will be renamed the Discovery Fieldhouse. The remaining $2M will support the development of an Environmental Technician Program which will launch in Fall 2027. The funding will support program development, delivery, and sustainability; modernize lab facilities; create scholarships and student placements; and more.
