The Toronto Star reports that the Government of Ontario’s changes to the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) are forcing some students to reconsider whether they can afford to stay in school. Students from George Brown Polytechnic, the University of Toronto, and the University of Windsor shared how the changes to OSAP have resulted in lower amounts of financial aid that will affect their living situation. “I’m one of many who will drop out, probably. I don’t see me being able to stay in school without some kind of adjustment to my OSAP funds,” said UWindsor student Justin Bysma.
