Providence University College is moving forward with restructuring efforts in response to the changing international student environment. The institution says that it reduced its staffing and operating budgets on the final day of September to strengthen its financial sustainability and ensure that its costs and operations align with its enrolment. “These are difficult decisions because they affect people we know, value and love,” said Providence President Kenton Anderson. “At the same time, we have a responsibility to steward Providence’s resources carefully and make the changes necessary to ensure the institution can continue to serve students.”
