RRC Polytech, Haas partner to offer free CNC Certification program

Red River College Polytech has partnered with Haas to offer a CNC Certification program to help individuals gain the training needed to attain an entry-level manufacturing role. The program includes two online courses: the Haas Basic Mill Operator and the Haas Basic Lathe Operator courses. Students will be able to register for in-person certification tests at a Haas dealer after completing the courses. The courses are free of cost and can be completed in 30 to 40 hours. “Training students on the machines they’ll be using in their careers prepares them to succeed and ensures our province’s manufacturing employers are hiring grads who are ready to roll on their first day,” said RRC Polytech trades instructor Jessica Burzminski.
