The University of Lethbridge has expanded its Early Start Experience course to second-year students who have not had on-campus opportunities due to the pandemic. The Early Start Experience gives students the opportunity to meet others, develop the skills they need to succeed in a university environment, and find out what supports are available and how to access them. “The first semester is often the hardest for first-year students and coming to campus for the first time, even if you are in your second year, can be daunting,” said Dean of the School of Liberal Education Dr Shelly Wismath. “The ESE … helps them learn this whole new system with its own culture, rules and standards.” ULethbridge Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
