Universities across Canada update COVID-19 recommendations in preparation for Fall semester

Universities across Canada are continuing to update COVID-19 recommendations in preparation for the Fall semester. Dalhousie University, Mount Saint Vincent University, Memorial University, the University of New Brunswick, and St Thomas University will be requiring masks in indoor and instructional spaces. The University of Toronto is not requiring mandatory vaccinations for students on campus, but it will be requiring those living in residence to have Health Canada recognized vaccinations. The University of Winnipeg, St Boniface University, and Queen’s University have suspended mandatory masking while still recommending that students and faculty wear masks.
