The University of Windsor has joined the Canadian Military, Veteran and Family Connected Campus Consortium. As a member, UWindsor will offer enhanced student services to help military-connected students navigate challenges and transitions such as relocations, shifts in academic expectations, and the emotional impacts of being in the military. UWindsor FAHSS Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator Sheri Lowrie said that this will help more students to attain an education. “We need our university to thrive, and we need people to want to have education,” said Lowrie. “It’s the best tool you can have.”
