Willis College has issued a statement supporting the Government of Ontario’s decision to review OSAP and calling on the province to invite “established, credible institutions to the table” for discussions about the future of the system. The college stated that it is ready to collaborate with the ON Ministry of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security on two priorities: developing stronger, measurable sector standards and establishing a safe path forward to ensure eligible students can pursue their education uninterrupted. “We stand ready to help the Ministry ensure that this opportunity remains credible, accountable and accessible for Canadians,” said Willis President Henry Devlin.
