The Université de Sherbrooke’s $250M fundraising campaign “Choisir de changer l’avenir” has officially reached its goal two years ahead of schedule. Le Devoir reports that funds raised through this campaign will go toward 150 projects that reflect one or more of the campaign’s core themes: living together, climate change resilience, technology benefitting humanity, and the personalization of health care and services. As part of its commitment to donors, USherbrooke is using a variety of follow-up methods to share updates on the progress of funded projects, highlight the tangible results, and showcase the experience of students who are involved. The university said that it hopes to build on the momentum by setting a new target of raising $270M by October.
