The Université de l’Ontario français has approved a draft of its first collective agreement with the Syndicat des professeures et professeurs de l’Université de l’Ontario français (SPPUOF). The draft has been approved by both the union members and UOF’s governance council. The approval marks the conclusion of a negotiation process that has continued for three years. UOF Rector Normand Labrie explained that this agreement will allow the university to look to the future and confidently pursue its mission.
