Trent University will be building two new student residences and new academic and student spaces. The two new student residences—Gidigaa Migizi College and Otonabee College—will be located on the Symons Campus and will add 1,400 beds to Trent’s living environment. The new development will also include amenities such as lecture halls and student support spaces. The residences will be funded by a $100M investment through the Building Ontario Fund, which will be repaid after the residences begin generating income.
