Louis Riel College officially opens first campus

Louis Riel College celebrated the official opening of its first campus this week. Located on the ground floor of the Manitoba Métis Federation’s (MMF) building in downtown Winnipeg, the campus offers courses in health care and Indigenous-focused early childhood education. “This campus represents more than just a building – it represents opportunity,” explained MMF Minister of Education JoAnne Remillard, adding that LRC has plans to expand its on-campus offerings. “We are creating pathways for students to achieve their goals while helping to build stronger communities and a stronger workforce for the future.”
