The Government of Alberta has announced the Cancer Research for Screening and Prevention (CRSP) grant program, which will provide three-year grants of up to $1M each to related research, education, and initiatives. The program will fund efforts related to cancer prevention promotion, early detection and screening, and the improvement of the journey of care for patients and families. “Cancer is something that will touch all Albertans in some way during their lifetime,” said AB Minister of Health Jason Copping. Expanding eligible applicants for this funding will encourage partnerships to improve cancer outcomes for all Albertans.” Eligible organizations for this round of funding include postsecondary institutions.
